The iconic Seaman’s Schnapps promoted the traditional Ayo Olopon contest and presented gift items to participants at the event. The popular Ayo Olopon contest which gave lovers of the game the opportunity to showcase their skills in both the male and female categories was held during the festival. The competition was aimed at encouraging men and women to develop the culture of playing the traditional Ayo Olopon. Journalist Ahmad Salkida who was declared wanted last month by the Nigerian Army over his closeness to the Boko Haram sect, says contrary to reports, he was never arrested by security agents. The rapper made the announcement at his Yeezy season 4 fashion show.
