Russia, Egypt Sceptical Of ISIS Involvement In Russian Plane Crash

A group affiliated with Islamic State (ISIS) in Egypt claimed responsibility for the crash of the of Russia’s Kogalymavia Flight 9268. Both Egyptian and Russian authorities are sceptical about terrorist involvement. Images and video recordings have started surfacing online depicting the crash site of the Russian passenger plane that went down in the Sinai Peninsula on Saturday morning. Russia has launched investigation into the crash that killed all 224 people aboard. Several radical Islamist groups have called for attacks on Russian targets since it began airstrikes on ISIS forces in Syria in late September. ISIS affiliate Welayat Sinai, in a statement circulated online, has  claimed it shot down the plane: “As you kill, you will be killed,” referring to Russian airstrikes in Syria. As of recent, the National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) workers have been sharing the news of them visiting areas of Nigeria affected by flood and donating relief materials . Fake Lagos Pastor Faces Homosexual Rape Charges

A 27-year-old self-professed pastor, Sadeeq Mustapha, stands trial at the Lagos State Magistrate Court in Ogba, Agege, facing homosexual rape charges. His vitims are Oladimeji Taiwo, a transporter, and Yusuf Idowu, a teacher. The defendant allegedly forced himself on the two men at Disu Akogun Street, Dopemu, Lagos, on October 9 and 10. Mr Taiwo, in his statement to the police, said they met when the “pastor” asked for road directions. After that, Mustapha insisted on praying for Mr Taiwo, who invited him to his house and introduced as a brother to his fellow tenants. As the prayer went on, Taiwo said, Mustapha requested that he took off his trousers and shirt and laid down, explaining that, at that stage, a pastor has to lie on top of the person he prays for. Nigerian Army Faults BBC’s Analysis On Wanted Terrorists

The Nigerian Army has faulted an analysis by the British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC) on the recently released suspected terrorist’s photographs. The Nigerian army spokesperson Sani Usman in a conversation with Naij.com said the analysis by BBC is aimed at frustrating military’s efforts and activities to clear insurgnets in the North Eastern part of Nigeria.
