Seasoned Nollywood actor Olu Jacobs and wife Joke Silva are in an ecstatic mood as they celebrate their 30th year of being together.

Mrs. Joke took to her Instagram to celebrate the union and she wrote quite a touching post to show how much she feels.
The thespian reminisced on the couple’s journey, how they started 30 years ago and all that they have been through.
She also talked about members of both families who are no more. It is a bit lengthy as well as emotional.

“And it has loaded. 30 years ago on 16th November 1985 we said ‘I Do’. It is a day of thanks To our Heavenly Father for all those who made those 30 years doable..my late mum and dad. Chief Afolabi Silva and Dr (Mrs) Abimbola Silva. They both tried to be fair…but mum was most times in Olus corner and Dad leant towards mine.
“My late sisters in law mama Shomolu and mummy Ibadan. ..my late brothers in law Papa London and Papa Fermi. ..all of them so protective of me. God in his wisdom has called you home. Your blessing will not decrease. We miss you all.

Joke Silva is an ace Nigerian actress who has many film and TV appearances to her name. The 54-year-old studied at the University of Lagos before relocating to England for further studies. She returned subsequently and has played a pivotal role in developing the local movie industry in Nigeria.
Together with husband Olu Jacobs the pair has managed to influence a teem of young, aspiring creatives.
She got married to Oludotun Baiyewu Jacobs, an ace movie star, in 1985 and the couple is blessed with two sons.
